THE PROCESS & THE CONCEPT OF CONTROLLED EXPERIMENTATION
“From the moment I drip the ink on a wet piece of paper, both water and ink begin defining the further development of the design—until it’s my turn again. One stage smoothly segues into another.”
Even though these artworks appear to be created in a free-flowing manner, they have actually evolved within a controlled setting. Each motif consists of a predefined framework that allows the ink to build patterns naturally. This process intends to support experimental creativity in a target-oriented way, showing how it can still flourish under existing guidelines.

THE PROCESS & THE CONCEPT OF PRECISION
“The process provides the insights: Drawing with ink and printmaking are artistic techniques that demand a high level of concentration. I constantly need to make the right decisions during the entire creative process. Every step is a commitment—once a line is drawn or a piece of paper is placed into the printing press, there’s no turning back. Each following result or intermediate stage is a consequence of the previous action.”
Independent of their actual messages, which are mainly inspired by natural elements, these works are meant to demonstrate appreciation for resources using existing materials effectively, thereby avoiding waste as much as possible. Both paper and its manufacturing materials originate from natural sources. Precision and attentiveness are not only needed for creating excellent results, but also to protect the environment.
